What Could You Sell?

A simple exercise to turn what you already know into a potential income stream

You don’t need to learn something new or come up with a completely original idea to make money online.

You might already have the knowledge, skills, or experience someone else would pay to learn from.

The goal of this exercise is to help you find it.

STEP 1: Look at what you already know

Forget about creating an offer for a moment. Answer these questions honestly.

What do people regularly ask you for advice or help with?

___________________________________________________________________________________

What have you learned through your work, life experience, or personal journey that could help someone else?

___________________________________________________________________________________

What can you do, explain, or teach that comes more naturally to you than it might to someone else?

___________________________________________________________________________________

Write down whatever comes to mind. Don’t overthink it.

STEP 2: Who could you help?

Think about someone who is a few steps behind you in an area you understand.

Who would benefit from what you know?

___________________________________________________________________________________

What are they struggling with that you could help them figure out?

___________________________________________________________________________________

What would they be able to do, change, or achieve with your help?

___________________________________________________________________________________

People don’t just pay for information. They pay for help getting somewhere they want to go.

STEP 3: Turn your knowledge into an offer idea

Take your answers and complete this sentence:

I could help [who] achieve [result] by teaching them [what I know].

___________________________________________________________________________________

For example:

“I could help new coaches create their first paid offer by teaching them how to package their skills into a service people want to buy.”

That’s a starting point for an offer.

You don’t need to have the entire business figured out yet. You’re simply looking for an idea worth exploring.

Look at what you wrote down. Is there a skill, experience, or area of knowledge that stands out? Something people need help with that you could turn into a paid offer?

Start there.

You don’t need 15 income streams. You need a clear idea of what you can sell and a plan to get it in front of the right people.
